Nope, don't worry, McLean dropped in a Connor McDavid name drop.

Watch Tkachuk closely, and marvel at just how inefficient he is as a possession driver. It's not even a high risk pass choice thing, he doesn't ####ing look a lot of the time, just tries to fling it blindly

No, Ron, Conner isn't watching Matthews. He is trying to decide what way to fall when an Av touches him. Good grief!

Depth scoring for the Flames is important in so many ways. Helps to take pressure off the top line which will allow them to be more relaxed and dangerous.

Well your rec team is a little different... Tkachuk makes some unreal passes out there. His setup of Lindholm last game for example. It's a bad take IMO.
He tried to hit Gaudreau quick there, nobody bats 1000

Looks like it's the first one for the Flames this season. Four other 6-on-5 goals, only one was a late tying goal, the other 3 were late goals to close the gap to 1.
Weird stat: Minnesota has 19 6-on-5 goals this year. I don't know how many are on delayed penalties and how many are late game with the goalie pulled though.
Although, now that I think about it, I believe the Wild pulled their goalie really early in the games against the Flames this year, so if they do that a lot, it would explain so many 6-on-5 goals.

Wow. It’s GDT’s like this one that are proof why I don’t spend anywhere near as much time here as I used to. Lurked for years. Finally got an account. Thought it would be fun to be part of the discussion, but the doom and gloom is incredible! Complaints about the players, the coach, the commentators…. We’re 1st in the Pacific! We have 2 players top 10 in scoring. Legit candidates for Hart, Selke, Vezina and Adam’s trophies. Top +/- team in the league and 3 of the top 4 players in the same category. We scored 1st. We scored last. We have a lead after period 1. It wasn’t the Bolshoi, but the job’s getting done. I’m old and have been a fan since Kent Nilsson and Willie Plett. I had season tix for over 20 years through the REALLY crap days. What’s happening now is special. Enjoy it!!!
Ok. That’s off my chest. GFG!

It seems as if one of the mics is a bit too close to some guys and is picking up their conversations. Even Ball seems to be distracted by it.

I think that Sportsnet's sound guy is deaf.
