I don't know if that's believable? It seems like if they were actually off sick (or protocol), they would have someone in their spot? Or they'd work from home if they were off for protocol? It just seems odd to pipe in Toronto for that reason, but I have no actual information here.

Well, That's what they announced. Doubt they would lie about COVID to cover up something else. Most likely all the producers on the show have it so they cannot really run the show.

Even to work from home they need a real live person in the mothership making it all happen, running ads, etc.

The off air guys have tested positive and are not allowed in the building is my guess, which grinds all studio and remote stuff to a resounding stop.

It's hard to know what's happening these days with no real testing, but anecdotally it seems like everyone I know is getting COVID (including me for the first time in two years). I don't doubt it's running through the station.

While it may have been resolved there, that is an entirely different thread (discussing the exact same thing) so it must be resolved here <- forum rules.

I sometimes wonder if people on this forum don't get access to all the threads. It's not like the original thread was on page two.

Thus why I gave the page link and post number. I don’t care if you discuss it here but the discussion at that point in the thread was what is posted here. I was simply pointing this out. So thanks for the rules update as I haven’t been here long enough to understand them
