When are you signing? Why won’t you sign? Why do you hate Calgary? Do you think Adam Fox is a turd? Why don’t you love us?

The interview is at the start of Hour 2: https://podcast.sportsnet.ca/flames-talk/
Interesting that he says he's still weighing his options for next season. I'll be surprised if he doesn't go back for one more year though. As he says, Harvard had a young team this year and based on how the season ended, they could be poised to make a big step forward next year.

Coronato has told the Flames and Harvard he is returning to school for next season. Also article says that he will be in Calgary for Flames development camp in mid-July.
https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article...rn-to-harvard/
Quote:
Matt Coronato will not be joining the Calgary Flames for their stretch run, as one of the club’s most prized prospects has decided to return for one more year of college hockey.
But the 19-year-old Harvard standout made it crystal clear he has no intention of being the next Adam Fox by playing anywhere other than Calgary when he’s ready to make that jump.
"Ever since the day I was drafted, I’ve been grateful to be drafted by the Flames," said the Flames’ 13th selection overall at last summer’s pick 'em party.
"I’ve learned a lot about them since that time and I have no other intention other than to play for the Flames.
"It’s a goal of mine to feel and be ready as soon as possible to make that jump, but right now I’m just looking to develop and see where we are next year."
It's a pretty good chance where he’ll be next year at this time is Calgary, where he’ll almost certainly round out the season with the Flames.
Until that time, he’ll be in Boston, where he’ll look to build on a stellar rookie season that saw the 19-year-old rack up 18 goals and 36 points in 34 games, including an overtime goal to clinch the ECAC championship, sending his school to hockey’s March Madness tourney.
Coronato informed the school and the Flames of his decision this week, after extensive conversations with all parties involved.
"I was able to spend a good amount of time talking to my family, and thinking about everything, and we decided it’s best for me to go back another year and continue to develop," said the scorer from Greenlawn, N.Y.
"There are a lot of good resources and it’s a great spot to continue developing, getting stronger and faster to play at the next level."

I’m excited to see him at prospects camp and at the world juniors.
I harp on this about every W/C prospect but I’d love to see either the flames or Harvard give him a run at C. He played some C for the national team and Harvard and this season, and his neutral zone play has been highlighted as one of his strengths.
Would be great if he could fill in as all situations driver in the middle of the ice.

So that should put the flight risk people somewhat at ease no?
Man that was frustrating on draft day (week). Just enjoy something for a minute without searching for the rain cloud!

Too old for next year’s juniors but hopefully he’ll be attending the one in August.

This is very different from Fox.
Excited to potentially have him join the fold next spring.

Another young stars tourney would be great.
I hope we have it. Nice environment to get a preview of up and coming prospects in a relevant setting.

I have very little doubt that New York didn't tamper with both Erixon and Fox to convince them to only want to sign there.
