Darryl has a lot of trust in his bottom pairing and he doesn't want to sewer the guy's confidence, but I do wonder if big Z gets a seat tomorrow night.

Yeah if you go through 8 defensemen in any kind of a playoff run, they'd better get Mackey some time soon with Kylington out.
Can't see them taking Stone out after a game winner.

I think Carpenter has helped add some flow/transition to that line.

His skating looks as lot better but he is still handling the puck like a grenade.
I still think he is a liability more than an asset at this point.
I would be letting him watch from above for a game or two if Jarnkrok is truly ready to return.

Oh IDK. Somehow I'm thinking that at this point in the season, Sutter is just 100% in "getting ready for playoffs" mode; playing or resting guys depending on who he thinks needs more icetime or more rest to be ready, trying out some last things etc. The way I imagine Sutter, scoring the game winner is basically just random noise to him.
Stone is probably going to get some games before the season is over though, but I don't think his scoring factors into it much.
