Can't believe Vegas blew a tire to the Canucks at home.

So much for bumping Edmonton out. They're running out of runway. Was counting on them to basically run the table (except against us).

Big win to keep a cushion for the division lead. Thought the game was pretty well played overall, a few poor penalties taken but I’m guessing the team is pretty fatigued at this point. Now here’s to FINALLY beating the Sharks tomorrow!

I have to say the TNT broadcast was so much better than Sportsnet in every facet. Better play by play, better stories, better intermission features. Very impressive. The guy doing the call Herb Albert or something like that was just very relaxed and go with the flow and knew everything and was very prepared. They were very complimentary of the Flames too. Probably because it's a national broadcast. I'll definitely be looking for their shows on Weds, and Sunday. Also Rick Ball is awesome so nothing against him. He's the best part of SNet broadcasts by far.

Sweep California and I'll forgive that last home stand.

Yeah the TNT broadcast was great. Unbiased, they complemented and criticized each side fairly and when it was necessary. You can tell their crew is passionate about the game.

Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass on play by play.

Like I said on the other thread SN is just awful.

Stone gets his first goal and no coverage of the celebration at all.

Having the Flames superfan in Biz on the crew helps.

Kinda disagree with the TNT play by play. There were loooong stretches where they were going on about some other story and not caring about the play. And in the intermission they are all talking over each other. Much prefer sportsnet. (Except for their pathetic technical production part)

What do you mean? They cut to the celebration right away.

SNET actually just piggybacks off the other broadcast for these away games they don't send a crew to.
So TNT showed the exact same series of cuts and replays.

Was watching with some friends and we turned off TNT and went to Sportsnet midway through the 2nd. The announcers sounded uninterested in the teams playing, especially Jones. Rick Ball is an excellent play by play guy imo.

Intermissions were decent but when Anson Carter said Lindblom instead of Lindholm, I was rolling my eyes heavily.

You're getting warmer. Marv had that issue with biting ladies.

This guy is related though.
