A shot from that close in is not about reaction, it’s about positioning IMO.

All they said on the Ducks feed was that Mang had trouble getting off the ice. Maybe blocked a shot?

Think he got hit with a shot, somewhere in the abdomen looked like.

Every time he allows a goal the same posters hop online to say how terrible it is...I honestly don't get it. Any actual Flames fan should be thanking baby Jesus we have this guy.

Top 5 in pretty much every category possible

Zegras got incredible elevation on that shot considering it was through someones legs. 99% of the time, Markstrom was in the right position covering the bottom three quarters of the net.

It’s not a crowd. One person blamed Markstrom.

I would like Markstrom to be a little tighter on the post there, but it's pretty tough to hang that one on him. Zegras was able to turn that play around pretty quickly, as it looked like he was going to skate it out to the top of the slot*

Like it or not, it is how the position is played now. On your knees. And yeah Markstrom played it exactly how most goalies would .

Personally I thought he was a bit deep in his net there. He would probably think the same if you ask him but it was a great shot and really not a big deal. Oh well move on

I like Stone every time he plays. Not sure why he isn't at least a #6 somewhere
