201 is part of the supporters section now, so maybe 202 and west from there.

I’ve seen kids in the supporters section and I do wonder what parents are thinking with that. To each their own, of course!

Yup, things are going to be a bit different in the South stand this year.

Foot Soldiers are in both 200 and 201 this year. I believe Frontline Ultras are moving to 201 to be closer to the goal. Section 203 has the English supporters who don't do the drumming or smoke but may actually be more vulgar (only heard their stuff in passing while getting beer though). Section 202 has some guy with a Wolves flag which I don't really get.

109 might be the best place to get the full atmosphere while being more laid back.

Also for what it's worth, I'm thinking of bringing my 2 year old into section 200 for a game this year. I heard far worse stuff at my dad's corporate hockey games in the 90's...

I’m just glad to hear that I am too hardcore for some people (even if it’s children). I don’t think I’ve ever been considered hardcore at something before!

I’m planning to bring my 4 year old to her first game this year. I probably won’t bring her into 200 though, I’m not sure if she’d like the yelling.

The other thing about the 200's is that people are always standing; kids either have to sit at the top, or they get visually blocked by all the soccer fan fat asses and butt cracks.

Yeah but what other section can you bang the official supporters drum if you're a kid? NO SECTION!

Curious how people think the final table will look at the end of the year? I've got it as follows:

1. Pacific
2. Forge
3. Cavalry
4. Atletico Ottawa
5. Valour
6. York United
7. HFX Wanderers
8. Edmonton

Going into the season I just don't rate Cavalry's attack highly enough. Feel like we're too thin in attacking mid and at fullback to start.

It's getting a bit disconcerting that almost everyone can see that the Cavs need a playmaker midfielder but Wheeldon has still not replaced Büscher 3 seasons later.

This is my concern as well. Is he having problems securing a quality mid, or does he just not see the problem?

I feel pretty confident about 1-2 and 7-8. 3-6 is more of a toss up for me. I think Ottawa will be much better this year, same with Valour. Calgary haven't improved their attacking needs in a way that provides confidence and York is another year older with the kids...

I already recommended 2005; Jimmy Reyes. That’s the full envelope of my amateur Canadian soccer scouting.

Jimmy was too old in 2005.

Picked up a flex pack for this season with a buddy. Plan to attend at least 3 games this season. Opening day, May 21st and the first Al Classico. Hyped

FC Edmonton with the quite cheap season tickets:
https://twitter.com/FCEdmontonNow/st...ggy5X0MgQ&s=19
Worth it for you folks going up to buy a couple seasons then just turn in all your unused tickets for the Cavs games?
Don't know what you would do with the free jersey though...

This is essentially giving away your product for free. Have to give Edmonton supporters reason to come to games i guess...

I still don't think they'll find a local buyer and that they will be relocated to Vancouver as Rob Friend's expansion team set to start next year.

I'm curious what they'll draw against Valour on Sunday. They have a terrible squad and it's supposed to be bad weather. I'd put the line at 250.

I thought this was cool. Osaze de Rosario, son of Canadian football legend Dwayne de Rosario, has signed with York United. I don't think he's got the skills chops like his dad, but that's some good name value for putting butts in seats and bringing some exposure to York and the league.
