It’s been the best PPV in awhile, but I’m still cancelling after tonight… I’m enjoying AEW waaaaay more than WWE.
It's just such a damn shame because WWE has the production and the talent to be so much better than it is, but the booking is just so bad most of the time.

It's pretty much the same thing every time with these two. Spam finishers until one of them wins after a ref bump or distraction of some kind. WWE have been shoving it down everyone's throat for 7 years. Hopefully we can move on now.

Thought maybe we'd get Rock there as you don't typically see the heel fade to black at Mania after a straight win.
Overall though a pretty great weekend. Was entertained by the majority of it. The celebrities more than held up their end.
Yeah, I don't really think you can take anything away from the performers. They more than held up their ends. Just some really brain-dead booking decisions and heat-killing finishes.

Day two had too many screwy booking decisions, Night one was solidly booked, and I think the match execution was a lot better.
Some of the match moments on night two were sheer fun. But the booking in the end slipped back into bad habits.
Overall though one of the better wrestlemanias in a while.
One of the main reasons I enjoy AEW over WWE is they generally keep the screwy finishes to TV and let the wrestlers just put on a showcase at the PPVs. Obviously there are some notable exceptions (looking at you "exploding death match") but, for the most part, the blowoff matches are clean.
I get that's a bit easier when you're not running monthly PPVs, but I feel like the big PPV matches should just be two wrestlers seeing who can get the better of the other, with the obvious heel tactics and tropes tossed in.
