Hmmm, something doesn't add up. In the last 4 weeks the Oilers have played 13 games and have won 9 of them, including games against Washington, Tampa, LA, and St. Louis. They have beaten every divisional opponent improving their playoff chances and diminishing the chances of those other teams. They have earned 19 of 26 points (.730 clip), and about to extend that to 21 of 28. They are a one line team that relies heavily on the PP, but they are getting it done and look like a pretty solid bet for the post season. Give credit where credit is due. They are some how finding ways to win, as nauseating as it is to admit that.

Kings in a SO, Blues and Caps in 3 on 3 OT, Dolts were playing Brian Elliott.

I looked at 3 weeks, not 4 my bad. Ok fine, go ahead and say 4 wins against playoff teams in 4 weeks. Are you helping plan the parade? In that time they also lost against the team I care about the most, what was the score again? Just Google It. And I'm not sold on you find it nauseating at all.

Oilers are the free bingo space in the playoffs, even if they scraped out 4 meaningful wins in a month.

Edit - 7 wins against playoff teams in 2022.

It doesn't matter how they are winning, they are winning.

And the Blues started Beachball Binnington. If Husso starts I doubt the Oilers get that to OT.

Can't believe the hoops people are jumping through here to make excuses for every Oilers win.

Queue up the Gatorade bottle red carpet parade and the hockey stick guard of honour! So nauseating.

Jared McCann's shorthanded goal four minutes into the game is holding up so far, 1-0 Kraken after forty minutes. Driedger has faced sixteen shots so far.

The all-important 6th goal in a 6-1 game.

Not you specifically, but let's be honest, this place doesn't take Oilers wins well.
Its funny to me because a lot of people who post here fancy themselves as hockey experts, but I guarantee Daryl Sutter doesn't think the Oilers are a joke.

The Oilers definitely aren't a joke. Their top 6 forward group is among the most dangerous in the league. But their recent run isn't quite as impressive as some are making it out to be.

Donato scored to make it 2-0 Kraken. Klingberg spoils Driedger's shutout bid to close the gap. Gourde scores on a breakaway to make 3-1 Seattle.
