I had to ponder for a few minutes what this could possibly be. Deadline passed. No players out with injuries or anything. Making any administrative changes would seem weird. What could it be? Thought was it had to be some random announcement of something bad for some reason.

If it was good news, they usually announce it on social media with the presser after.
Just calling a presser without context is usually a sign of bad news.

It's the announcement for the new grinding wheels on the skate sharpeners at the Saddledome, obviously. After all the falling down for no reason last game this could really be a game changer.

Crap. Well the Flames have been one of the more healthier teams this season. I hope that depth can overcome whomever they lost. Assuming Kylington maybe.
