I think Herdman has some or 5 changes to make in the second half if they do want to win. Looking fairly disjointed (reminds me of the olden days) this half. Kaye is still all over the place.

That was a full half. Looked better after the formation change but they look really tired

There a reason FIFA chose the BC Place for a Women's World Cup, and I assume it went through a similar criteria evaluation back then.

Without doubt, it's the best soccer stadium we have in this county. Capacity, crowd proximity, luxury boxes etc etc.

BMO Field is a puzzle where they add peices every 5 years. No terrace behind one net. 25k capacity doesn't cut it and temp bleachers could be put any CFL stadium. Winnipeg, Sask, Hamilton all have better outdoor stadia then Toronto or Edmonton..

Don't mind Kenny slapping on conditions for funding Commenwealth has very little to offer, and upgrades would need to be significant. Crowd proximity is terrible along the sidelines and can't really put temp seats at at least one of the ends given the way the seating boss wrap a round a bit on the one side. All it has is capacity but the layout an amenities are terrible.

Given FIFA's choice of BC Place before, full capacity without having to add temp seats, or any renos, and a iconic look to it, t's turn key outside of the pitch.

Would like to see them play with a little bit more of the dog in them in the 2nd half. Panama was pretty physical with them and no one seemed to really respond. Need to play with that identity they've established no matter who is out there.

Because who wants to host a global tournament in Edmonton? In a crappy stadium?

Also, Canada in general should want Vancouver to host this. As much wrong as there is with FIFA, the WC is a chance to showcase our country. We should show the good parts. IE, nor Edmonton.

Great goal. Pot 3 looking bleak. No idea where the right back was to allow that unmolested run and cross.

Hate to say it, but Hutchinson looked his age on that goal. Terrible. What a finish though.

Maybe the goal wakes up Canada. They've been sleepwalking.

Kamal Miller didn't cover himself in glory either, but there's not much you can do about that kind of volleyed finish. Hutchinson's tracking back there left a lot to be desired. He looks so slow tonight.

Would like to see Ugbo get a run. Cavalini's been useless.

Thank goodness Larin is warming up.

Edit and now on. Any of could've been as useful as Cavalanni.
And, Kaye off too. Only question is did Herdman leave these changes too long.

I don’t think playing a 39 year old 3 times in 7 days is particularly wise.

The high pressure on Canada's back 4 is causing errant passes or straight giveaways.

Another counter attack and this time Johnson gets back. Very good tackle but could've been trouble if it wasn't perfect.

And as soon as Cavallini and Kaye leave, their replacements Hoilet and Larin hook up for our best chance.

My guess is the Panamanians get an extra few bob in their paypacket if they win, given the overt time wasting tactics in a game that means nothing to them.

What a pathetic dive, and to stay down, feigning injury long after your own team has possession makes it even more embarrassing.

Can they really not do something to fix all the diving?

This is almost unwatchable now. Every Panamanian player has had a near death experience this half.
