It's not often there are 3 games with the same score, especially 6-1.

The Capitals and Hurricanes could play each other in the 1st round of the playoffs. The Capitals better hope their goalies improve quickly. Both teams were perfect on the PK, 4/4 and 0/4 on the PP. Necas had 3 points.

Big win for the Blues. Husso continues to play well in net on home ice, he made 35 saves. Same thing with the PP in this game, neither team scored on it.

Vejmelka could only do so much as he faced 35 shots in 2 periods of play. He got some rest on the bench in the 3rd period with the rookie Josef Korenar taking over.

Way to go Kraken! Coach McLellan is probably wishing he started Quick for this game.

ha! great minds thinks alike. I actually was just digging into this using the Stathead tool via HockeyReference. I don't think it has ever happened (three games with the final score of 6-1).

Edit: Yep, confirmed. First time it has ever happened three times. Pretty cool!
