Hey in Qatar we'll actually get real announcers.

2-0!!! Being a scot in canada, I have tended to watch more of Scotland’s qualifiers and overlooked the Canadian team a bit. However, watching this game and they are playing really well and look a real threat going forward. It’ll be great to watch them in Qatar - just hope Scotland can get there too!!!

What a great half... I was a little worried that Canada missed a number of good chances on getting some insurance until Buchanan's goal...
Bring it home boys!

Complete and utter domination against an inferior Jamaican side who just doesn't look interested in playing today. Could be 5 or 6-0 after that first half.
Who's ready to watch Canada in the World Cup at the Ship in November?

God I hope so. Dreading that we'll be stuck with these knobs for Canada games.

Do not book your hotels.
Absolutely under no circumstances should you travel to Qatar.

Seems odd to be calling it at the half.

I checked hotels out of curiosity the other day, found absolutely nothing available (Marriott).

It's TSN. They may go with Wileman and Caldwell or just go with the international feed.

Canada could give up five goals in the second half and they'd still qualify later today.

Have no idea while Nigel Reed isn’t calling this game, he’s Canada’s best

1000% it will be TSN announcers for Canada, yes likely Wileman. Would be great if it was Reed.
I would pay for a TSN3 feed with the international feed announcers, or TSN5 with Vic Rauter.
But thank goodness this is the last of Wheeler and Dunfield outside of friendlies and the Hamilton-centric CPL.

I like Wileman. I can't understand Caldwell.

Yeah flights weren't that bad to fly 3/4 the way around the world, but hotels are scarce. Qatar doesn't appear to have places like Super 8 or Motel 6.
As others have said, fans will have to stay in the UAE or other neighboring countries and fly in for the games.

Aren't qualifying teams allocated tickets and hotels? There will be packages from the CSA and hotels booked already.
Unlike other world cups, I don't think you can show up, book a hotel, and buy scalped tickets.

Once again, Estaquio is showing us why he’s such a valuable and underrated part of Canada’s success. Just a smart, smart, smart player.

June 25 2020 is still a huge day in Canada's soccer history. The previous qualifying format, in which Canada was 3/4 through but unlikely to get into the final qualifying group given its convoluted point process, was scrapped due to all the scheduling and thus ranking issues from Covid..
