The idea of doing something with the Atlanta logo has been bandied about for decades now; when Calgary first played there vs the Thrashers talk was hoping they'd use the Atlanta A.
Glad the organization finally saw the light. Kudos to the Flames for finally listening and the decision makers and designers that came up with a simple clean warm up jersey.

The team is good enough to make the playoffs, and quite easily by the looks of it. But as a franchise we've pulled up lame in a lot of playoffs series.
I like the depth.
I like the coach.

Nobody ever considered that a hockey market. The arena project was a failed real estate swindle.
The NHL has a long and ridiculous history of playing in arenas that were defective, undersized, badly located, or just plain unusable. This thing in Phoenix isn't the first or even the worst, and won't be the last.
