I’m now 2-1 on the season. Saw last win against Oilers and last night. Loss against Canes.
It actually has me thinking, how many times have the flames ever played home games on back to back nights?
I don’t recall it ever happening pre COVID.

Totally unrealted: I'm finding the GDTs to be expanding past the width of my screen all the time. Did I change some settings somewhere that stopped the resizing of large pics? Or are they just huge and I must deal?

Score on the Oilers early and often tonight. That is all.

But no team is scoring quite like them this season.
Of the National Hockey League’s 20 30-goal scorers this season, four skate regularly at Scotiabank Saddledome. No other team has claim to more than two of the remaining 16. “Up and down our line-up, we’ve got a lot of smart players on our team this year. It’s been a lot of fun to be a part of and to watch.”
Elias Lindholm leads the way with 31. Each of Johnny Gaudreau, Matthew Tkachuk, and Andrew Mangiapane slot in exactly at 30 — making the Flames the first team in the NHL since the 1995-96 Pittsburgh Penguins to have four snipers reach the 30-goal plateau by the 65th game of the season — when Jaromir Jagr, Mario Lemieux, Tomas Sandstrom, and Petr Nedved each toppled the mark.

Love the GDTs, Cheese.
Does it drive anyone else crazy to see these charts divided into quadrants by team average and not league average? If you draw the lines on theflames chart in the same place as the oilers chart, every single player is on the good/boring half at the bottom.

I think it's my fault, have to downsize some photos and just didn't have the time.

Treating it like it’s their Stanley cup is generally used for teams out of a playoff position. Congrats on your flames good season. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the season plays out. Calgary hasn’t proved a thing, yet you guys act like your on some sort of pedestal because you’re ahead in the regular season standings. The flames are still eleven points back of the Avs but I bet if you asked every flames fan if they had a team that could beat them in the playoffs everyone would say yes. Oilers fans feel the same way about you guys.

The confessionals are there for the Oiler fans.

OK....but the Oilers have proven even less.
If you really believe the Oilers would beat the Flames in seven as the teams are currently constructed, good on you i guess.
I dont think they would stand a chance considering the PP's go way down come post season, and having to rely on Koskinen and Smith in net.

The scoring gap on the Oilers from McDrai to Hyman is wild. 5-3 Flames is my prediction

Oiler fans don't think the same way. Maybe the delusional ones do. I work with a bunch of Oiler fans, and most I've spoken with think Calgary would win in a series. We're the better team in all aspects and would grind down the Grease in a 7 game series.
