Johnny with either a pick-me-up comment to Monny or a shot at Darryl during intermission... Depending how you want to interpret it

One of Johnny's best friends is Monahan. Nice that he sticks with him.

If Kylington did what Zadorov did the whole board would be screaming for a spot in the press box

Would like to see the flames get 3 or 4 more in the third. Put this out of reach.

I really want this to be true, but so far he’s still a guy who used to be able to put the puck in the net. I’m not sure what message exactly he’s trying to send

I think he's just trying to give his buddy a boost. I imagine it's not an easy thing for Mony to have to sit in the press box.

For some reason, I don't think he's talking about Michael Stone.

I hope Monahan’s potential buyout doesn’t sway Gaudreau from re-signing here.

Monahan is recovering from hip surgery and Gaudreau is standing by his teammate and friend, supporting him. Doesn't have to be anything more than that.

I like that Johnny stuck up for Monny in that interview. I just wish Monny was playing up to at least half of what he’s capable of

I appreciate that Sarich recognises orange as orange, not copper.

If sitting Sean fires Johnny up like this then we should do it more often.

This is what we need from him the rest of the way.

Sure I can agree with that. He also does have a knack every few games for turning the puck over like he did. It is ok to acknowledge a flaw in a player, nobody's perfect.

Of course it would. Any trade, buyout of Monahan would make Gaudreau contemplate his decision, 100 percent.

Principe spiked Francis' drink with some Oilers Kool-Aid. The Oilers still might not even make the playoffs let alone beat LA and play the Flames.
