It alternates from quiet to very busy and the Thursday OOT is another busy one.

The Hurricanes and Stars are tied 0-0, but, the shots are 19-4 for Carolina after twenty minutes! Wedgewood is in net for the Stars, his first game since he was traded.

The Jets and Senators are tied 1-1. The Stars and Hurricanes are also tied 1-1, the shots are now 34-9 for Carolina.

The surprise has the Flyers up 2-0 over the Blues.

So what’s happening at the Saddledome tonight? Is there any reason the NHL couldn’t have scheduled the Arizona/Flames game for tonight? Or is it just so Edmonton will get a less rested Flames team on Saturday night?

Aha, sleeper cell Brad Richardson is doing his part for the Flames.

He won the faceoff in the defensive zone for Vancouver directly onto Demko for a rebound goal against.

Yeah, it's strange. Arizona hasn't played since Tuesday either so they would have got a day's rest.

Mcdavid just had a rush where a Sharks player didn’t even touch him. And Michaels still thinks there was a holding call. It blows my mind how bad he is.

The Stars get a point as their game goes to overtime. Wedgewood has been spectacular in net facing 41 shots so far to 15 for the Stars.
