Here is the dream lineup for me
 Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk
 Mangiapane-Monahan-Toffoli
 Coleman-Backlund-Jarnkrok
 Lucic-Dube-Lewis
 Carpenter

I really hope we see a resurgent Monahan and/or Dube now that the deadline has passed and they are still here

Sounds like they might continue to spread the wealth and keep the Backs/Tkachuk duo together which does make sense to me.
 Something like

 Gaudreau - Lindholm - Toffoli
 Coleman - Backlund - Tkachuk
 Mangiapane - Monahan - Jarnkrok
 Lucic - Carpenter - Dube
 Lewis, Ritchie

 Hanafin - Andersson
 Kylington - Tanev
 Zadorov - Gudbranson
 Mackey - Stone

 Markstrom
 Vladar

Black aces - Ruzicka, Pelletier, Phillips, Valimaki
 ???

I would rather see

Dube - Carpenter - Lewis

Much more speed, with Lucic as a regular sub-in

My guess is that this pushes Lewis out of the lineup and they go back to something like this:
 Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk
 Mangiapane-Jarnkrok-Toffoli
 Coleman-Backlund-Carpenter
 Lucic-Monahan-Dube
 Lewis-Ritchie

We are going to find out pretty quickly who has a nagging injury on forward. This lineup is built to withstand some ware and tare.

I think if Carpenter is in the lineup, it'll be as 4th line C. Can't see him playing on the 3rd line ahead of Dube

			I'm going with
 Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk
 Mangiapane-Backlund-Coleman
 Dube-Jarnkrok-Toffoli
 Lucic-Monahan-Lewis
 Carpenter, Ritchie

 OR

 Gaudreau - Lindholm - Toffoli/Tkachuk
 Dube - Backlund - Tkachuk/Toffoli
 Mangiapane - Jarnkrok - Coleman
 Lucic - Monahan - Lewis
 Carpenter, Ritchie

I think the first set is what Sutter will go with unless and until there's a shakeup needed, when he goes to the second set, which is what we saw last game. His comments seemed to indicate he like the lineup from last game, so maybe we stick to this for a while. The interesting thing to remember though is that with the playoffs approaching, Sutter is going to be playing a ton of mind games with other teams starting now.

Any kind of nagging injury over the next 6 weeks, or a game where you lose your focus, and you're getting a game in popcorn row

For some of the season sure but Lucic will be a factor come playoff time and should be in the lineup.

I was thinking of this. Since Stockton is well positioned for the Calder, will the Black Ace contingent be smaller than usual? Can't recall the last time both NHL and AHL teams were ranked to potentially go a few rounds in both Stanley and Calder Cup runs.

			Gaudreau - Lindholm - ToffoliMangiapane - Backlund - Tkachuk
 Coleman - Monahan - Dube
 Lucic - Jarnkrok - Lewis

 Depth forwards:
 Ruzika
 Carpenter
 Ritchie
 Pelletier
 Phillips

However, if that 3rd line struggles, perhaps try:

 Jarnkrok - Monahan - Dube
 Lucic - Coleman - Lewis

And if that doesn't work either, maybe try:

 Coleman - Jarnkrok - Lewis
 Lucic - Monahan - Dube

And if you still can't get Monahan going at that point, it could be time to stratch him in favor of Carpenter or Rosie.
