Played well until Jota's goal, but felt like things would go that way.
Happy with a decent effort though and continue to top 4 chase next match.
Moving on...

Arsenal played well overall, they didnt get played off the pitch or anything.

I'd say there was a goalkeeping error on Jota's goal, granted it was a howitzer of a shot, but from a sharp angle, near post.

Really, it was a comedy of errors on the second goal.

But Arsenal generated some decent chances on Thiago's crappy back-pass and forced a couple of decent saves out of Allison.

Arsenal didnt really look like they were in any danger of winning, but they didnt get dummied. It was a decent performance and, as you said, they move along.

They checked it too

Maybe the most obvious call I can remember seeing that a check somehow missed

Bagor says it all the time, the people running var are the biggest issue

It’s a major issue though. Like today, that was absolutely a nailed on penalty. It’s more than just “the officials aren’t very good” when you’re just letting things like that go. I’m not suggesting it’s bias, and maybe it’s just the officials taking pity on a team that’s not winning anyway, but it can have larger implications. I’d love to hear a justification of that non-call tonight because it wasn’t controversial or questionable at all.

Everton vs. Newcastle

This match might play out like two elderly one-legged gentlemen in an ass kicking contest.

And now further scenes, Allan sent off after VAR review and Richarlison dangerously tempting a second yellow for screaming at the ref.

Little does he know how much Oil is involved in the manufacture and distribution of single-use plastic zip-ties.

The scenes when Iwobi scored the winner were something else. I don't think I've seen a more jubilant crowd in many years.

Remember when people said spurs should sell kane for whatever they could get?

That pass to son on the 2nd goal was what dreams are made of

Those two have games where they’re just incredible!

I was one of the “sell Kane” people (not for whatever we could get though). I do think we should sell while there’s value, but it’s also evident that if we keep him, Conte stays and we add someone instead of Reguilon (and maybe Doherty), next season is going to be exciting.

I think sessegnon has shown enough to be the starter at lwb, assuming conte stays, but with his injury history another option is definitely needed. I like reggie, but if the rumors Madrid are gonna offer 40m are legit I think you take that

Doherty has shown he can fit based on the way conte is using him more as an added midfielder when attacking instead of outwide, but I do think hed prefer a speed option on outside like he had with Hakami. Id be happy if we added another rwb and doherty became the understudy

I do like Sessegnon out there, and forgot about him...probably because he's always injured, lol. Doherty has been OK on the other side, but to me leaves a little to be desired. Royal just hasn't been good enough though, and he was more of a guy for Nuno I'd think.

If you can get 40m for Reggie, you bite their hand off though. I will say that he looked amazing at the outset, but now that seems to have faded and he's just not that good.

Ya I think royal is a decent right back, but hes far too defensive as a wing back, decent backup option to see a game out but that's it.

looks more and more likely that Erik Ten Hag will take over United in the summer. Only other candidate is Pochettino, but per Telegraph, Ten Hag has emerged as the clear frontrunner. They'll interview both of them for a second time over the next days.

Shameful they allowed that, only going to increase the gap between the big 6 and the rest
