This is the kind of trade I want to see Calgary make. I keep circling back to bringing back Erik Gustafsson as a depth PP option. He only cost a 7th last year and would probably be OK on PP2 in a pinch if Kylington or Zadorov went down.

I imagine the return probably has something to do with Beaulieu getting healthy and playing x number of games.

I suspect Sutter is more concerned with defenders who are good in their zone first vs a pp QB as a depth D. Can always use a forward in that spot.

I’d look for the more physically inclined, responsible defender as the likely adds today if any.
