How has Dermott been? Seems like an upgrade from Hamonic.

To Vancouver: Dermott
To Ottawa: Hamonic
To Toronto: 3rd round pick
…Ottawa certainly loses this trade.

Travis Dermott (LS/LD-RD) has an AAV of $1.5M this season and next season, and is an RFA upon expiry.
Hamonic (RS/RD) has an AAV of $3M this season and next and is a UFA.
The Canucks net $1.5M in cap space and got younger.

This is where the Leafs make the cap space for Gio methinks.

"You're a sick man!"
Never thought I'd see Dylan McDermot/Dermot Mulroney referenced twice in a week.

Doesn't really matter. Canucks needed a LS. Only have OEL and Hughes as leftys.
Hunt is a tweener right now.

The cap space is worth more than both of them

I remember a time when you claimed Hamonic was better than Tanev.
Of course that was before you had seen Hamonic on your team.
Good times.
Wish Hamonic was still a Canuck.

I am pretty sure his inability to competently play RD is the reason Toronto didn't use him.
