Doesn't Scheifele have some character issues? I seem to recall him being in the news for the wrong reasons before.

I don't think it would cost a 1st like some but the Flames need to get rid of him for a reason...play comes nowhere near matching his play on the ice. Not many teams wanna just burn over 6M IMO. I think you could move him in a trade along with something the other team actually wants.

Didn't he also get sued by a company that was doing work on his house? Either way, I've heard many people in Winnipeg who have had interactions with him didn't come away with a positive image of him.

Official word from the Flames is that they are done making moves.
However, Johnston thinks they are still kicking around the LS D market
If they could get a player to play ahead of Kylington or Zadorov, they would
Thinks they kicked tires on Lindholm, but weren't necessarily close to getting him
Wouldn't be surprised if they do something surprising
They are kicking around the D market looking for a little bit of an upgrade because they may not get another chance with this core of players
But if they don't make another move they are comfortable with the team as is

Monahan + 2nd for Gio… would you do it? Helps us free up space for the off-season contracts, brings in a D that could play ahead of Zad, is yet another addition that is familiar with organization and Sutter loves and dollars in/out works.
