The trick to pay them no mind. Residents and workers need to just treat them like they don't exist.

If we could do that, imagine how quickly they'd get bored with their pointless rallying. They need something/someone to push against, which is the whole motivation and reward for this from the start.

We tried that...for a year. It didn't work.

this shouldn't make me smile as much as it does...

in victoria, police have setup checkpoints to keep all vehicles away from the bc legislature. only local traffic is allowed past - all others can pass, but only on foot.
one 'smart guy' decided to bypass a checkpoint and go thru a field... which he then got stuck in.


i enjoyed this part of the story...

After attending the scene, police discovered that the vehicle had previously been given a level 1 Notice and Order for a defect that required immediate attention.
The vehicle plates were seized and the vehicle towed to impound. The driver was issued $600 in fines for the defect.
