They’ve both played higher. Bruins are a first round exit.

Man, who's left on the market for Monday? Gio and Fleury?

It's been a joke for a long time. Most deals happen before or at the last hour or so. But people will tune in to hear them rosterbate for hours.

Dube-Monahan play reasonably well when paired together. IMO you keep Dube if you're keeping Mony.

If we were to get Rakell I doubt that we would be able to keep Dube.
No chance Anaheim takes Monny and Dube fits where they are at in their rebuild.

Fair points. I just think Lucic-Mony-Lewis is too much of a liability on the ice when put together as a line.

With a top 9 like that you don't have to worry that much about the fourth line being a liability.
I've liked Lewis and Lucic this season though and think that they have been quite solid.

Where's Monahan going to get the pieces that would get Schiefele?

It doesn't even take that many people tuning in to beat the ratings of their regular Monday daytime programming. An NHL trade deadline where nothing happens is a significantly better draw than highlights from the quarter-finals in the Malaysian snooker championship.

HNIC:
Giordano is Leafs top target. Rangers will be competition.
Dubas has told teams he won't trade his 1st for a rental
Travis dermott will be moved regardless of what happens
If Leafs don't get Giordano they will try for Braun
Don't get the sense Flyers are in any hurry to move Sanhiem, Provorov, Konecny but big offer may change that
Most likely summer moves
Boston, Rangers and Colorado interested in Copp
Patrick Kane and Toews' agent says he won't be traded before deadline
Wild looking at MAF
Oilers will not be doing anything big
If Oilers look to do anything might add a LS d-man
Sounds like this weekend will dictate what the Canucks do
Garland and Boeser names they hear most often
don't get the sense the Canucks have an inclination to trade Miller
Paul and Sens are not too far apart
Both sides are dug in
Forsberg and Predators talk have stalled
Don't think he will be traded but Preds exploring trade
Expect Bruins to sign Lindholm to an extension
SJ's Barabonov's name is out there
Caps interested in Domi. Col and Bos too
Caps will need a 3rd party or CBJ to retain

Gio makes sense for TOR more than any other team.
I wouldn't mind seeing Brodie and Gio finally seeing a couple rounds together.
