Solid pick up. Not sure where all these supposedly cheap rentals are lol. Tampa, Bruins and Panthers have gotten better. Toronto go for Gio? Keep up with the Jones lol or pick up Fleury which i think is a better choice

Or teams are high on the draft and want more firsts this year. From everything I’ve seen it’s a pretty deep draft, better than last year for sure.

^Well the extension helps the trade make a lot more sense. Seemed like the position that the Bruins least needed immediate help with this year, but if this isn't just a rental, that makes sense.

I like the trade way more with the extension. I get that the Bruins are kind of in a win now mode with some of their stars aging, but at the same time I really don't see them being good enough to beat the top teams in the east, so definitely wasn't a fan of the trade as a rental.

Hampus Lindholm isn't old by Defenceman standards, but this is a deal that's going to take him to 36 years old. It's somewhere between 2-3 slot money for him. I'm not as familiar with him these days, but that would seem like where he would slot on the Bruins. Not sure if it's a great deal or not as I really don't know the player all that well.

That’s a rich extension for Lindholm, but it does make sense for the Bruins to lock him up.
