Looks like Jarnkrok will play. Centering Mangi and Toffoli in his Flames debut

Lewis up that high is kinda gross considering the depth we have.

Trade Dube for Rakkell retained

Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk
Coleman-Backlund-Rakkell
Mangiapane-Jarnkrok-Toffoli
Lucic-Monahan-Lewis

That is absolutely insane.

Kinda too bad after a the decent night Monahan had on that line, and his lack of success with Lewis and Lucic, but I guess they want to see what they have with Jarnkrok. If he pans out down the middle it makes the future clearer.

It would have to be Silfverberg. He’s the one from Gavle.

When can Ruzicka get called back up, or are we screwed on cap for awhile? Haven't really followed that aspect.

Nice to see Jarnkrok slotted into center for his first game.

I know the coach doesn’t want to take Lewis out of the lineup, but the 4th line had a great night too and deserved another shot.

Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk
Mangiapane-Monahan-Toffoli
Coleman-Backlund-Jarnkrok
Lucic-Dube-Ritchie

Those probably should have been the lines tonight IMO

Sutter rewards his guys for good games, perhaps he doesn't see Monahan quite as awesome as you always claim he is.

That's really unfortunate. Based on play this season he deserves to be in this lineup.

Is there a little part of you hoping Monahan gets better, finds his touch and helps the team? Or are you so stuck on the I hate Monahan narrative that you're actually hoping against the player?

Lewis ... listening to Sutter I think he feels Lewis is important in the room and on the bench so he has to find him a spot to play. When he's put him on the fourth line they all crater (not Lewis specifically), so up with two dominant two way players he nukes their offence, but gets him a regular shift

Just my opinion.

The few times Dube has played centre, he looked rejuvenated. Last game a tonne of pressure playing with two not so offensive guys, and two points. Personally would have just liked to see Jarnkrok on Backlunds wing and Lewis down on a Dube centred fourth line, but at this point I think that we have to trust Sutter.

Looking forward to this one. Welcome #91 and may you and your brethren kick some butt tonite .

Like a kid in a candy store I'm excited to see smiles on certain faces as they realize their dreams come true in getting to play together....and make allot of noise in doing so.

I like Lewis, but he is an offensive black hole. Definitely sticks out in that top 9, not in a good way. Excited to see the new guy tonight. Centering a nice looking line.

Monahan doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the second line.

With a game tomorrow night in Vancouver, I thought we'd see Vladar in this one. You'd think they'd let Markstrom play against his old team.

Playing both?
Waiting to see how much action he faces tonight?
