I think it's hilarious that other teams fans , forums etc try and point out teams weaknesses while the flames are cruising along winning, beating their teams etc....
AND SPEAKING OF PLAYOFF SCORING....our team HAS sucked as a team without Darryl Sutter but looky looky hmmmm the Flames aren't in the playoffs quite yet but I for one am not nearly as concerned or worried about it yet.
If we struggle in the playoffs (and that's a big fat IF) I'm sure we'll fix the issue PDQ with Darryl here.
This team playing a 200ft game means a helluva lot more .....and we'll be fine .

I'm sure that Monahan has received this exact message from all the coaching staff multiple times throughout the season. Sutter seems to be very clear on his expectations, so if players aren't meeting them it's not because of a lack of 'fuel' in the fire.

My thoughts as well. Have seen a few posts about opponents people are scared of facing in the playoffs, but I don't think there's reason to fear anyone.
This is a good, solid team. The playoffs will be another test, and while it would be amazing to pass that test this year and I think they could, I have a ton of confidence that even if they don't they have the right people in place and the right minds steering the ship to keep improving.

Awesome to see he's skating with Mangiapane and Toffoli.
IMO, it makes the most sense to try that because, if it works, it would give the most bang for the buck. Having a 2nd scoring line that gels would be just what this team needs.
Gaudreau - Lindholm - Tkachuk
Mangiapane - Jarnkrok - Toffoli (gelling)
Coleman - Backlund - Lewis
Lucic - Monahan - Dube
would be awesome
