Flames fans, keep an eye on the new guy in No. 91. Trade acquisition Calle Jarnkrok was slated to arrive Thursday in Calgary and should be in the home lineup for this showdown with the Sabres. Remember, both Blake Coleman and Tyler Toffoli buried in their debut in the Flaming C.

The Sabres are on the brink of the wrong kind of history. They’re about to miss the NHL’s spring dance for an 11th straight season, which will mark the longest playoff drought in league lore.
Zemgus Girgensons, who has played just one game since Jan. 15, is fully healthy and likely to play Thursday. He returned to a line in practice Tuesday with Okposo and Cody Eakin, a trio that was a big factor in Buffalo's 5-1-1 start.
It's one thing to cheer for a team that's good, or a team that you've always cheered for (check, check) but it's another thing to cheer for a team that I genuinely LIKE. All these guys. I want to hang out with them.

Always fun to see my two favorite teams play, as always I just cheer for a clean and competitive game with no injuries or dumb stuff.
Calgary obviously far superior to the Sabres this year, and we played last night, and you guys are probably getting Tokarski in goal. So it should be an easy Cgy win, but Sabres have had times where they look inspired so you never know.
As a side note, I bought a nice new Flames hoodie yesterday which is the first Flames merchandise I've bought in years. Really good vibes for this year's team.
Also, dayum if these aren't the two best looking teams in the NHL after going back to their original colors. Those pics are beautiful.
