Sure they do… on content that generates ad revenue for Peterson. But Jacobin articles that reference tweets don’t make Peterson a fraction of a penny. Not only does he not get paid when people reference him, he doesn’t get paid when you click on or scroll past his tweets. Nor does he when you post about him, comment on him, or just generally love/hate him. He didn’t make 5 cents for every time I wrote “Peterson.”
