We haven't heard from Pointman since the 13th, everything OK? Maybe CP got blocked in Russia for fake news.

EDIT:

Not too sure. The friend said that the center of the village was destroyed. The mayor of the village released a statement on the villages telegram channel saying it was cluster bombs. Wife's parents are a couple minutes away from there.

Javelins are really demoralizing Russian tank crews. You guys hear about their new anti-javelin slat armor "cope cages"?

Apparently Russians are so poorly supplied, they appear to be building "cope cages" out of mattress box springs now. Here is a recently captured T-72 example. lol

Good news there. Hopefully no deaths.

The fact that all these places in Ukraine have bomb shelters tell you that no one ever really trusted Russia.

I agree, but they're probably also left over from the old Cold War/USSR days.

This change of tactics inevitably doomed the Battle of Britain with the RAF being able to recover...had Germany concentrated specifically on military targets, the Battle of Britain could have ensured German air supremacy throughout the war, which they did not have for Russia eventually (the Luttwaffe never fully recovered).

This is an existential war, and as such every step towards Ukraine winning is a step that must be cheered.

Huge positives today

Not even close, on radar the SU-34 looks like an F-15, the F-22 looks like a seagull.

Either way, based on the irrefutable evidence we've seen, Ukraine has destroyed hundreds of millions of dollars of military equipment. Maybe billions.

You can see a tally of photographic documented losses here, this is just photographic documented losses that can be 100% confirmed by outside sources.

https://twitter.com/user/status/1504470898035683329

From this alone, Russia has already lost 4 Su-34 and 6 Su-25

We also know that the amount of helicopters destroyed is much higher, but with just photographic evidence (where you can see them actually partially destroyed or worse), is already up to 32.

Needless to say, Russia's attrition rate is unsustainable.

Not really. Just because it is the best Russian fighter doesn't mean it is equivalent to the best American fighter

Su-34 is at best 4+ generation fighter, not 5th generation like the F-22 or F-35. It is a Su-27 Flanker derivative. The Su-34 first flew in 1990, it is a 1980's redesign/update of a 1970's aircraft.

As a ground attack variant of a 1970's air superiority fighter, it is most similar to the F-15E Strike Eagle.

Fair! Still, great to see. Russian air power seems to be much less effective than advertised. I was thinking of the SU-57!

Ukrainian forces were able to kill a 4th Russian general because he used an unsecure phone and they geolocated his position

https://www.businessinsider.com/russ...rce=reddit.com

Russian forces really do seem like the most inept military on the planet right now

Although I wish for all human suffering to end in this conflict (on both sides) I openly celebrate the killing of Russian Generals.

They have the power to stop this madness and didn't. They deserve to die.

The Russians really do seem like they are at least an entire generation of tech behind. They're rolling in mass amounts of armour, but being stifled by locals exploiting cell phone and drone technology.

If they put as much effort into normal, on the ground, technical things, as they do deep fakes, cyber attacks, and propaganda, they would be unstoppable.

The Su-57 isn't really a thing yet, it wasn't due to be in service till 2025, with Putin's Russia going broke it may be a lot longer.

The SU-34 is very good, but yeah, its not close to the capabilities and survivability of the F-22 or F-35. There are video sightings of the Felon from Ukraine, I saw a video of a 3 bird flight.
