This is very true. Would just much rather him go to an actual contender like the Panthers to hopefully get the Cup he deserves. It always kills me that Iggy never got to lift one even with all the other accolades.

Would hate for a guy that took Gio's path of blood sweat and tears to make it never get a ring. He won't get it in Toronto.

This is a weird post when the Flames are a legit cup contender. I do t want him winning this year unless it is here. If not the Flames then I agree Florida would be a decent option but that ship has sailed with Charoit

A depth D man. That's all that is left.

And it's a buyers market for d men so we could get a solid option for cheap.

How is it weird? The Flames are very unlikely to get him back and I never even mentioned the Flames to begin with. They are legit contenders but he's not going to get his cup here.

Out of the three options listed in the tweet I am referencing the Panthers are by far where I want him to wind up as I think they are way more likely to win it than Toronto or NYR.

Your post is actually quite weird.

You said you want Gio to go get a cup this year. I personally hope the flames win the cup

Bergeron re-aggravated an injury that has a risk of infection

Bergeron has a laceration with a significant chance of infection. They are keeping him out for at least the next 2 games.

Possible. They’ve been rumoured to be looking for one for a while… but they may have liked the look that Stone gave them last week and may have chosen to use their assets on Jarnkrok instead.

Never really been a fan of giving up picks for marginal depth defenceman, eg Fantenberg. Seems like a waste. Our top 6 has been solid and then we already have Stone, Valimaki, and Mackey in case of injuries.

They need a grizzled old vet that can contribute even when he's not playing. Some extra experience in the room.

That’s the job of Lucic Lewis and Sutter

That's Richardson. Think Sutter even said something to that effect in one of his interviews
