Whoever replaced Kirsch has done a wonderful job of eliminating the fan as a station I listen to while working.

I try and catch the morning show and end my day with Flames talk but a bunch of dead air for 6 hours in the day now as the Marek show is just brutal as well.

One thing they need to do a better job of is letting the listener know when scheduling changes happen. I am irritated that I will tune in the odd day at 4pm and hear they just started hour 2 of Flames talk. Why the hour early today? Couldn’t that be communicated in advance somewhere? Or when Francis has his show and they talk Flames and he gets Treliving or someone on there why not make sure the listener is aware? I have no interest in listening to a condensed replay of the morning show which is what I assume will be on until I read on here there was an interview or something during a show I wasn’t aware was on.

This thread is pretty negative so I want to chime in.

I enjoy the changes that they have made, especially the focus on making it available quickly and easily for podcast listeners. Having the post-game show available in the morning is a nice touch if the game is late and I don't listen to post-game interviews.

Flames talk is my number 1 podcast at this point and I appreciate them posting descriptions, so I can pick the segment of the show I am most interested in if I am going to be taking transit home from work or working out.

I am not a morning person, so I missed a lot of the good stuff that would be on the morning show, whereas now I can just check to see what was on each hour if I want to check it out, or go straight to the Pinder hour of Flames talk. Then Pat and Matt have turned into a good pair who bring in solid guests and are able to fill up 3 hours everyday with interesting conversation. I prefer the Pat and Matt combo quite a lot.

I don't listen to the Big Show as much, but I'll check in to see what is going on with Loubardias and keep listening if they are talking about stuff I'm interested in.

Overall, I would say this is the most I have ever listened to 960 and I've been enjoying it a lot (probably helps that the Flames are doing great, so positivity is easy to come by and legitimate).

I swear Logo had a different vocal tone/style before, but since pairing up with Nault he just parrots his gloomy tone, so you have two guys echoing each other with the same comatose delivery.

They started out talking about Tom Brady extending his career, and managed to make it sound like he was delivered news that he had been diagnosed with a terminal disease.

Rather than communicating it as exciting news for the sport and fans to be celebrated they instead went on speculating about when father time would catch up with him, and how long he had left.

But you can have radio personalities deliver even negative headlines while still keeping things engaging and upbeat. I think I've dissected it down to the fact that Nault starts his sentences on a higher tone, then descends as he speaks and trails off on a lifeless low tone. Basically the personification of the "womp, womp, womp" sound from game shows when you lose.

I like Pinder and I like the morning show. But Pinder struggles leading without Boomer, while Rhett chimes in once per hour and just overall seems like a lazy #### haha. It was rough this morning albeit I only tuned in closer to the end.

Damn... that really sucks. I love Warrener. Station has really lost some of its better voices over the last couple years.

Warrener was my favourite part of the morning show, I stream it every morning from Texas on my way to work. The insight he has from his playing days with Darryl has been especially interesting for the last year. I was excited when he came back, the Krahn/Commodore tryouts weren't as entertaining.
