I'd rather EDM missed, but I trust them to get swept more than VGK, so either way is fine.

On the LA game, they were talking about the trade deadline...

"Do they love the trade deadline up in Canada?"

"And if it's quiet, they don't know what to do"

"Are you kidding? They don't care, they go on for hours - everybody's a genius on deadline day"

LOL

No way. I don't like Vegas either, but my hatred for the Oilers is so much deeper. That garbage franchise deserves to miss the playoffs for the rest of eternity.

Absolutely hilariously bad hockey. I really wish the Wings had won so we could laugh hysterically at how terrible the Oilers are.

Embarrassing officiating in Oilers game, gifted power play on Staal penalty and even up for the dive, that dive isn’t even a 3 on the McDavid scale. Absolute joke.

I really hate Vegas, but they don't even come close to my level of hate for the Oilers.

Checking in from enemy territory at Rogers Arena. (Canucks vs Devils)

Really emotionless game. Just a bunch of players collecting paycheques and couldn't careless who wins.

Good thing for the Oilers it’s a 7-5 league.

Horvat with a huge SHG to start the 3rd giving the Canucks back a 2-goal edge. This guy is clutch.

up 3-0 after 5 minutes and 4-1 after the first and they still end up rolling Draisaitl, McDavid, Kane 21-23 minutes and 5 guys under 10

guess its a strategy..each team has to roll their own way

Didn't catch any action tonight but chiming in to say proper teams don't end up in 7-5 firefight with the lowly Wings.

The Oilers wouldn't get a sniff in any other division.

And Eichel backfiring in Vegas (considering the depth scoring they gave up and haven't made back with him in) is brilliant.

It's about time things didn't come up roses for that club.

With three assists tonight, J.T. Miller now has passed his career high points total in a season.

His previous best was in 2019-2020 when he had 72 points in 69 games.

He now has 73 points in 59 games.

Miller's pretty good. Canucks are garbage.

I mean, let's wait and see how that goes when they don't have a huge amount of injuries. Might be a bit premature to say that already.

When they don’t have a huge amount of injuries they’re going to have to get rid of some good players though.

What's your feeling eddly, what do you think will happen with him?

Extension
Trade this off season
Trade next season sometime, maybe at deadline
Lose him for nothing

He's had a fantastic season. I'm not sure what the rush would be to trade him perhaps just because his trade value would be so high?

Extension. If the Canucks continued their record with Travis Green as coach, sure, you would have to trade him.

If he is extended, Boeser is either gone or taken to arbitration.

I still can't get over how bad Benning was with asset management, how do you lose two franchise/good players for nothing (Markstrom & Tanev)?

How are they gonna fit Eichel in during regular season if everybody is healthy? Honest question.
