I honestly think hanging out with Man U and Ronaldo this weekend, seeing their big win, is what did it.

Darn, should have put some coin on the Bucs while Brady was retired. The lines sure moved in a hurry!

Buried in the Brady news is the Vikings have added another year to Cousins deal, so that takes another team, and Cousins, out of the QB carousel for this year.

Has to be some sort of power play involved with Brady getting something from the Bucs that they weren't willing to offer before.

saw the headlines and thought time skipped to April.

Honestly, very surprised at the move. Brady can still play, but just surprised that he would change his mind, as the Bucs do have some roster challenges next season...

The main reason he probably came back is because the NFC south is so bad that they are guaranteed 1st place and a home playoff game. The NFC looks pretty terrible overall.

probably saw Uniteds win and thought he can do it until he's 50 if even they can win.

so much unnecessary drama.

Rooting for Mitch

Matt Nagy was a complete moron, I think theres an equally good chance that Mitch was poorly handled by Nagy as there is he is as bad as people think.

Normally I would say the Steelers are a good destination as they always seem to field a good defense. However Mitch was propped up by a good defense in Chicago and the ceiling was still low.

Is Nagy the reason he can't throw to his left?

Dont get me wrong, theres a lot to improve with Mitch but given some of the mind boggling schemes Nagy had I think some of his accuracy issues are a little overstated.

He is definitely lacking a deep ball throw though. That thing is rough.

He runs the 40 faster than Ben runs the 10 though, so theres a bit of playcalling aspect the Steelers can add

man this has really ruined my day. I would have been content with Mariota or Bridgewater for a year or two while they find the next guy, but the thought of having Trubisky under center sucks the joy out of me.

If you're not going for Deshaun then Trubisky offers at least some "away from Nagy" upside. Jimmy G is who he is, same with Teddy. Mariota might be more interesting, but he also did get beat out by Tannehill, who we all think sucks, so maybe he also just sucks. Steelers should of course be nuking their roster and going full rebuild, but pride gets in the way and all that.
