Love how Sutter gets asked a nice but softball question on stone and he actually says really nice things

Then the reporter gets greedy and doubles down asking what Sutter thought of stone getting an assist - Sutter retorts had no clue he got one

Lol.... over the goal horn too. I like the Bon Scott (original) version of TNT better than the Brian Johnson version (mostly from concerts). Flames use the original.

What did Hrudey say?
During the Edmonton game he made a comment about Sutter that made me sense he has some serious animosity towards him (which seems out of character for him).

I wonder what the story is there?

I don't have a dog in this fight, but I will say this:

If you don't love Jailbreak, you are an awful human being.

They played a clip from last year about Johnny's 500th game and Sutter commented about how he hopes Johnny has more energy in his 500th game than he did in his previous or something like that. And this was last year too and Sutter has since said a lot of good things about Johnny including just recently but they never showed any of that.
That's what Hrudey for some reason still went on about and Ron too.

Well I assume they couldn’t play thursdays clip in praise of Johnny because there was a not so veiled dagger directed at the wonder twins

Was at the game tonight. Lots of kids there, the little girls behind my son and I started a “GO FLAMES GO!” chant, which grew very loud at the dome. Once the chant quieted down we heard, “We did it! We did it!”

Dominant performance from the Flames...totally outclassed the Wings. Greiss the only reason Detroit had a chance going into the third. Although they only led by a goal for much of the game, I didn't feel nervous that Detroit would somehow steal it, with Markstrom in net and the stifling defence. Can't believe he has 9 shutouts already...what a signing that was. Beyond his numbers, he's become a real important leader on the team.

Good game by Stone. Nice to have a 7D who can step in after such a long absence and make a positive impact.

I'm looking forward to the ATL and the Wings fans slagging their own team for so few shots, especially in the first.

I wish we got Greg Millen with Rick Ball every game. He's so much better than Cassie and I prefer him over Hrudey, who sometimes can't string a sentence together without stumbling.

Bring on the Avs!

The lady with the "I hope both teams have fun" sweater (shown cheering on TV after the goals) was one of the highlights of this game.

(+the win, +the shutout, +the johnny/larkin stick thing, +the ref handshake)

And it would have been 10 if it wasn't for the ref sleeping on the job on Monday.

Just got back from the game. What a fun night. I hope we never have to watch another reduced capacity game again. The crowd was great!

Couldn’t believe the shots were 31-5 after 2 periods and we were only up one. Huge credit to Markstrom, he made some clutch stops in the third when Detroit woke up.

Also, Toffoli is awesome. Love that guy!

When did Shersterkin get torched?

He's now tied with Marky at 2.07 GAA. Was ahead of the pack a few days ago.

In his last game before tonight he let in 4 goals and only played a period.

Lots of kids at the game tonight..probably because of the early start. A group of 8 or 9 were in the seats beside me and the row above me and they were constantly getting things going with "Go Flames Go", "Charge", and yes, they got the wave going too. It took them awhile to get it going and they were so happy when it finally went around a couple of times. Yeah, some don't like the wave but the kids thought it was great.
