Anyone notice the morons on Sportsnet just saying the Flames have hit a rough patch "losing 5 in a row?" I had to rewind to make sure I heard it right.
It was about the last 5 games against Tampa. She just kinda forgot to clarify that.

I’m livid after this one. And I’ve lost a lot of respect for Stamkos.
I think he should get a one suspension for that BS. That wasn’t a fight, that was a sucker punch. And it was done fully knowing the game was over and the penalty wouldn’t matter.
The scrum after the hit was sufficient “hockey code” payback. It wasn’t even that hard or malicious of a hit.
if a player is deemed guilty of an instigator in the final five minutes or in overtime, he "shall" be suspended for one game,
Exactly like another poster said, he doesn’t kill penalties, he came off the bench just to attack Monahan. I don’t know how the refs can get away without calling the rules the way they are.

Lol, she keeps saying 5 in row and what a great team to snap that slump against and then the guy quickly takes over and clarifies 5 in a row against Tampa..

Great game! Incredible performance by Johnny, making something happen every time he stepped on the ice.
Hilarious that he scored 2 identical bank goals. Showed great skill and presence of mind on both, quickly putting the puck in the perfect spots to bounce in.
Also, another outstanding game for Markstrom.
The ideal team for Tampa to take out the frustrations of their last 2 games is...the Oilers! I look forward to seeing the Oil getting beat down on Saturday, following a Flames win over Detroit. I hope the Oilers go with their "battler" in net...unless he still has the runs. But I expect Koskinen.

They were referring to having lost 5 straight against the bolts in the dome
Honestly, good on Hemsky too. Just kept getting up and going down the same line over and over knowing he was getting punished. Rarely recall him ever really complaining about it. Not like todays Stamkos-style whiners. Can't deal with a little rough stuff.
