I imagine Sutter didn’t put the top guys out for the last power play because he didn’t want some Bolts saying “you hit our star, we will do it too” or some nonsense like that.

Honestly wonder if Stamkos should get some punishment for leaving the bench to start an altercation...

He doesn't kill penalties and immediately went for Monahan without really entering the play at all.

That was an entertaining game. Great goaltending at both ends. Just a blast to watch.

Sportsnet headline: Oilers didn't play tonight, so we'll just make #### up.

Feel good win! Why would the Cup champs just lay down for us why?

I’m livid after this one. And I’ve lost a lot of respect for Stamkos.

I think he should get a one suspension for that BS. That wasn’t a fight, that was a sucker punch. And it was done fully knowing the game was over and the penalty wouldn’t matter.

The scrum after the hit was sufficient “hockey code” payback. It wasn’t even that hard or malicious of a hit.

Doesn't work that way: he was legally on the ice. That's all that matters. Why he didn't get the instigator + 5 though....

His punishment should be to play in Edmonton on Saturday.
