Also, JG is a smart guy. Vasalevski is the guy who made the behind the back save that's on all the highlights...basically, maybe additional video sjowsseems like he plays off the goal line and doesn't automatically slide back to hug the post.
That's in part why JG has that opportunity given the goalie's positioning.

Another great chance for Mangiapane. That’s three at least.

I love the guy, but man Looch has not looked good for a few games now.

He's really been playing well since coming back in. His shooting % has to just be laughably bad right now.

Cirelli looks like Mangiapane's twin separated at birth

Yup, and that's exactly what they need to do. Hopefully they learned from the game against the Caps the other night. Never take your foot off the gas when you have a lead.

I think Looch needs a game off on Saturday. Rest up and get ready to punch faces on Sunday.

Yep.

He’s going to go on an absolute heater from May 1st right through until Christmas! Big playoff performance incoming!

Yeah something about that save specifically made me think “no wonder they’re back to back champs”

If it weren't for Vasilevskiy, I think we'd be up by 3-4 goals.

This team has very rarely taken the foot off the pedal.

They play harder than any team I’ve watched this season.

Last game was a one off, based on fatigue.

Jeebus. That line has zero finish. Good game though.

So many chances for the 4th line. Can't get a handle on that puck though.
