Hell even Salim Valji is a massive downgrade from Jermaine Franklin. They're getting worse virtually everywhere. They still hold the edge on Sportsnet when it comes to Trade Deadline coverage but that might be it now.

I don't even know the last time I tuned in to Sportscentre. It's a total shell of its former self.
Well Sports Broadcasting doesnt pay what it used to.

I'm pretty sad that the Stamps/Flames are losing Alanna Nolan. She is awesome!

She has some pretty high expectations. Calgary is the sunniest city in Canada.

This should go over as well as when the Fan hired a Oilers fan to do work the mid morning show.

Doesn't really matter they're professionals for a reason. Boomer in the mornings is a Jets fan. Rick Ball is a Canucks fan. I doubt you notice any bias from either of them.

We are concerned a PR person either worked or grew up cheering for the Oilers? Do we forget the greatest actual on ice Calgary Flame of all time was also an Oilers fan growing up?

They are professionals, we should not be concerned about it.

Interesting. Didn't know that.

What was she doing there? Was she in management?

I'd imagine that is much lower pay than TSN or CSEC

I assumed he was taking about the co-host they hired to work with Rintoul. I believe she was an Oilers fan.

Sounds good, now show me Boomer and Rick in their Jets & Canucks adult onesies on social media.

The fact that she’s worked in sports media for well over a decade shows just how unprofessional and tone deaf she is posting images like this. But maybe I’m wrong, Oiler fans are known for their unbiased professionalism.

What a waste of fandom, nevermind the fact that you'd wear hideous rags in public.

Leah Hextall is an unabashed flames fan who covered the Jets. Who cares.

Once an Oilers fan always an Oilers fan. CSEC should have done a proper back ground check beside her head shot photo, maybe look at her twitters. I cant believe the apologists here.

An extended playoff run with the Flames will go a long ways in getting her head right...
