Those back-to-backs are brutal too. No time to properly rest or practice.

No, not at all. I have a great deal of respect for him and think he calls things pretty fairly.

Assuming Johnny was able to skate off, hopefully it’s nothing. Same with Rasmus’ hand.
It's 100% intentional, he is looking at Gaudreau the entire time. If that's an accident you immediately go over to see if he's okay.

Dube needs to be benched for a while. Monahan...he's done a lot for this club, but when he's tired, he just isn't much at all. It's a shame.

Why? He didn't cause any goal. He needs to play to get his game back. May be Lucic needs to sit a game or two.

I think with his background as a goalie he tends to comment more about goalies but I do not find it excessive at all. Really, it seems as if Cassie is not the color commentator, people have to find some other color commentator to rag on.

First of all, when will Tom Wilson be out of the game? The way he adjusted his legs and skate direction looks like he accidentally intentionally meant to do that.

Second, that looks more like a potential Charlie horse than a knee thing

Sincerely hope we see some fresh legs on the 4th line. Ruzicka looks good at 3C, Monahan and Lucic both look done.

Sutter seems to see it too: after the 4th line gave up goals on consecutive shifts they were benched for the rest of the second. Monahan only played 8:48 and Lucic 8:58. Appreciate all Monahan's done over the years but there's just nothing left.

The line missed a few shifts in the second after the goals. But also, Monahan takes the shortest shifts on the team, no matter what line he’s on. It’s really noticeable. I think he just doesn’t have the stamina any more. At least he knows it I guess. Lucic takes extra long shifts when he shouldn’t.

Nobody wants Oiler level cheerleaders as broadcasters. That was exactly what Hrudey was for the Washington Capitals tonight.

Puck dies on his stick too often...he loses it most of the rest of the time. His job isn't to prevent goals...but it is to score them and that means controlling the puck to the extent he can in the OZ. He just doesn't do a lot of that...and makes far too many mistakes. I actually like the guy and see that he has some abilities, but I'm not sure he has a high hockey IQ. (On the other hand, do we have anyone better at this juncture? Don't think so...so maybe on TDL?)

Clearly you need to watch more hockey. There are 700 players in the NHL, and Sean Monahan is not the worst of them.

Sneaky Wilson. Totally intentional. But the league protects him. Hope Johnny is OK.

Brutal schedule. They didn't give up. Get some rest ans see what happens Thursday.

Monahan is overpaid but he is an NHLer let's not be ridiculous. You can't just "cut him loose" anyway. Little thing called a contract

I think Dube has reached his plateau and what you see is what you are going to get. He brings down whatever line he plays on.

He has some speed and is ok on the penalty kill but that is about it. He can't seem to hit the side of a barn. And same play every time. Go up the right side of the ice, wing it around the boards to someone who is not there and possession is lost.

He's also arguably the worst every day player on this team.

GF%: 38.30

So yeah, saying he isn't an NHL player isn't correct as he's clearly playing the NHL.

His play is very bad though.
