It really wasn't that horrible on the replay. Lucic came in fast, Broberg turned away from the big Lucic hit partially and Lucic hitting him spun him into the boards further. Scary, but not malicious.

Lucic hit was fine. Broberg quit on the play and then put himself between Looch and the puck. Skated right through him.

That's actually a great point. Lucic can't push him from behind when he's that distance to the boards, but Broberg stopped up to avoid the hit, which is equally dangerous.
50/50 responsibility there.
