Lindholm has been especially quiet. Tkachuk is trying a bit too hard/cute, and the Oilers seem to be shadowing JG specifically.

But yeah, have to find a way to adapt.

This game was a Sutter specialty.

I think you can tell he wants this one as boring and methodical as possible.

Playing this as anti-Oilers as they can.

Flames have been a little off tonight, especially the top line. It's a damn good thing we have depth scoring. Also this game doesn't seem to have any of the intensity of the previous game against the Avs.

The better team is winning though, so that's good. 20 minutes to go, boys. Please close this out.

Yup. I didn’t mind period one despite all the complaints here. No way he wanted to play a high tempo rush game.

It was Rick Ball who said and he was talking fast. Easy to miss the N.

Oilers are pure chaos. They have no system. It's just throw McD and Drai out there as much as they can and survive barrages from the opposition when they're not out on the ice.

Flames might be a little off offensively but have given up next to nothing

Unbelievably, Kings starting to nip at the Flames heels.

But we have a ton of games in hand still.

Flames definitely not anywhere near their best against a depleted trash Oilers team, but 2-0 is very nice.

0 high danger chances at 5v5 is brutal, but they've only given up 2 high danger chances which is fantastic

4 games in hand is pretty big...the way the Flames are going that is probably 6 points...making the lead 8
