PP1 has what - 3 RHS? Toffoli, Lindholm and Rasmus. But you can’t take any off unless it’s Andersson.

When you face Oiler-level goaltending they have to just fire a lot of pucks on net... Koskinen will Koskinen.

Oilers are in the Flames heads because of course they are.

It’s not surprising the employer wants them to pump their team and their star.

Follow the money.

Could be worse. Flames definitely playing down to their opponent, but the Oilers only had 6 shots on goal despite having two powerplays. They're so bad

Not nearly enough intensity by the Flames

Gaudreau had Lindholm in the same spot and for some reason tried to go all the way across to Tkachuk - it was tipped away. Lindy is hot right now - go to him.

In Hrudey's book he said that he didn't care for Sutter or his style.

I wouldn't say that. Flames shut them down well and laid the body that period.

They just play more tentative than they need to vs the Oilers.

I don't know why. Maybe how much these games get hyped. But they should treat the Oilers no differently than the teams they've slammed in the last month.

Like if they approach this like they did the Wild in either game, no question they would be running away with this one.

Instead they just let them hang around.

No you can't. That's the problem. They need one more skilled RHS.

Yeah he had at least one D plus Koskinen at that angle and the loose stick was also in the way. Oilers collapsed to that side pretty well on that play. Too bad there wasn’t more open.

In hindsight the shot wouldn’t have been worse than what Kylington ended up doing.

he literally scored a PP one timer off a faceoff against the leafs like, a couple weeks ago.

The guy is obvious playing hurt. Probably shouldn't even be in the lineup based on how bad the injury looked, but Flames gon Flame

Ya why not keep them out there for the entire PP at the end of a period?

I mean it's fine. Everyone has a nails on the chalkboard thing when it comes to peers and people in general. Sutter happens to be Hrudeys.

Although I love that Sutter doesn't help the media build narratives and stories for them. And he gets real terse when the questions are silly to him.

If Kyl isn't healthy, they should be sitting him.

I hope Sutter isn't letting guys play through moderate ailments while they're atop the division with games in hand.

Use Stone. Use Mackey. Use Valimaki.
