Not that I support Putin in that long table picture, but I imagine he's keeping most people physically away from him to avoid assassination attempts - especially people who don't operate within his own security circle.

I think Zelensky should challenge him to a one on one Thunderdome like fight. “Putin has fought bears! He should easily beat me!” They could feed the world with the PPV draw.
