Oh yeah, sorry I didn't mean to sound as if I was justifying them. It is really sad, but that's the way our minds work. If people are lost or dissatisfied with our lot in life, movements like this give them something to lose themselves in and in many cases become a part of.
The issue in their minds at this point shifts from "I haven't accomplished what I wanted to in life" to "it's immigrants, the LGBT community, wokeness etc that are holding me back, me and this group can change that!!!!".

Purpose is fine and good, but I don't even know if they know what specific purposes they're pursuing any more.
If it was specifically vax mandates to enjoy freedoms and mask bylaws, well both of those will be lifted here in short order.
So why the #### are you still protesting?
Just call it socializing with signs, because you're not protesting for anything any more.
Unless this is a getting back at Trudeau thing. In which case, it also makes no sense. He doesn't give a ####, and you're just doing more to disrupt communities here.
Just go chat in a park instead like normal, civilized adults. You know, where you're not in people's ways.

Just remembered something about my conspiracy lunatic friend, in the early days of the internet he was constantly sending me chain emails and links to ridiculously fake content. Snopes was incredibly useful, I would send him the link and he would feel silly, eventually he stopped sending nonsense. Until the pandemic hit.

I see that they consulted some top-end advertising and media firms and concluded that as far as rallying cries and battle slogans go they determined that "Honk Honk" is about as good as it gets.
