It's amazing how much the Flames reputation has changed around its physicality and intimidation with a few key changes in Coleman, Lewis, Zadorov and Gudbranson. Treliving deserves a huge amount of credit for building this and obviously Sutter does for getting the team to buy in.

I’m agreeing and adding that we joke about “in the room” but in reality everything that happens in the organization has to be supported with player buy in. Players can’t go their own way in order to have team success. The weakest link is the player that can’t or won’t play the same style as the other players.

This was Matthew Tkachuk's 8th 3+ point game so far this season, including a 4pt and 5pt game, he's also had a few 2pt games.

Currently 11th in NHL scoring (59pts), or 10th because Johnny Gaudreau is tied for 6th with 65 pts along with Mikko Rantanen of the Avalanche.

He’s going to cost $10.5-12M on a long term contract.

I am loving the Gudbranson/Zadorov pairing. Big, mean, skilled and chipping in.
When they signed these guys, skilled was not something I was expecting. Seeing zadorov dangle is brilliant.

That’s great!

(But FYI, a tie above someone doesn’t move them up in standings.)
