I was listening to the Carolina radio feed while driving around- mostly during the netting stoppage- they were pretty good in general- and really into the situation with the repair. they did refer to McDavid's return as heroic which I felt was a bit much, but i haven't been watching the game- so maybe it was?

The longer they ignoring this fact the better... another year of McDavid wasted is a good year.

Ken Dryden was an awesome Hall of Fame goalie....he also had Larry Robinson, Rod Langway, Serge Savard and Guy Lapointe
and Gainey, Jarvis, Lemaire, Roberts etc

Long speech about how the blunder twins would never sell a call or take a dive, and their heroic battle level and reverence for fighting through missed calls, will be rewarded one day by the league.

It’s kind of amazing the number of times that players checking McDoofus end up without their stick in their hands. He’s turned that into an art.

Canes currently putting on a clinic in how to protect a 3rd period lead, but it would sure be nice if they could score an insurance goal here. I hate that they’re allowing these losers to hang around.

Another missed interference call leads to a scoring chance for the Oilers.

At the UC...Binnington and Fleury are playing out of their minds...0-0 after 1. Kyrou had a breakaway, and didn't even get a shot as he tried to out-wait Fleury, then he whiffed a wide open weak side 2 on 1 pass. meanwhile Binnington snuffed a 6 shot goal mouth scramble. Wide open chances, going both ways, but, I'd say that the Blues are getting better looks. 'Hawks have dressed D-Men, Issak Phillips and Alec Regula who have 9 NHL games between them.
