Y'see - I *like* this idea. Make the refs look like the idiots they were, and the NHL as well, for condoning the ongoing lousy reffing. Force them to confront it head on.
But nah...no-one's gonna do that unfortunately. Fun to think about though, but they won't because "Wideman effect".

Not only did the miss the high stick on Gaudreau they made him get off the ice because his injury stopped play lol

Ugh. Went to the game tonight. What a mess. Flames definitely did not have it tonight, ya the officiating was horrible, like next level bad, but there was just not a lot of crisp execution by the Flames tonight. Oh well. Glad 88 spoiled the shutout. Still had fun at a live hockey game , first one i have been to in a long long time. Nucks fans showed up and cheered their team on from the second the puck dropped, kudos to them.
