Disowned former Pred Artemi Panarin had something to prove. He set the tone early Thursday night by scoring the first two goals against his former team en route to a 3-2 win in what was another close game between the CPHL's two best teams.

With zero faith that Kucherov can do anything, he was demoted to the 3rd line and still did nothing, in fact was a -1. It was ultimately Roman Josi that took the game over and dominated from start to finish skating circles around the AHL D that the Preds have.
