I wonder if we see Ruzicka promoted to the third line at any point in time this season.
He has been playing well lately and it is well deserved.
I suspect so, but really I think they're just hoping to find some combination of players for those bottom two lines. The chemistry has not been super good, you can't say Lucic and Monahan have clicked in any important way for example. So you have Dube, Lucic, Coleman or Toffoli (assuming one is playing on the Backlund line), Lewis, Ruzicka.... I'd kinda like to see Ruzicka with Lucic and Coleman, a big strong evil line. But that makes the next line really "spare parts" ish so I just dunno.

I actually was less impressed by Ruzicka in the last couple games than the few before that. I think they should let the lines gel a bit before more tinkering. Lucic and Monahan have played well together in the past and though last game didn't produce I thought they looked fine. All three guys play the same pace, and Lucic has a better hockey IQ than Dube. He can get the puck to Toffoli or Monahan.

I would be shocked if Ruzicka was moved ahead of Monahan on the depth chart. Would also be surprised to see the Backlund-Coleman tandem split up. I have doubts your predictions come to light
Firstly ...Brucey Boy can suck it. Darryls got unfinished business and Bruce will have his biggest pouty boy face on after.
Maybe he can rehearse his perfect premadonna speech from back in the day with his new team.
LORD ZEBULON will continue crushing his enemies driving them before him and to hear the lamentations of opposing team fans , players , coaches.
Tyler Toffoli will also continue his reign of terror over the nucks as will Tanev and Markstrom.
The number ELEVEN is the greatest number ....I love saying it .....ELEVEN.....it just sounds cool.....even though it's a meaningless number right now and NOT okay to be spoken of because we have some unfinished business.
I love kicking the nucks in the nuts .....the sound of the ooooof after gives me goosebumps....but nothing like a good riot after a loss.
